Besides my 12X12 albums, I still keep up with my kid's 8 1/2 x 11 albums f/k/a baby books. My daughter Chrissy is 20 and my son, Matt is 17 and I really don't know how to stop. I still need to update Matt's album with 11 years of little league baseball pages that I just had to redo (I may need another binder). I find it hard not to redo the whole book. I have this urge to update all the pages with all the awesome paper and embellishments but when I think about how, the desire to leave it as is, is stronger. I can still see myself as a young mother scrapping when I didn't have a clue. I would just put pictures and write a few words before I knew the whole process had a name.

My kids love to look at their books over and over. And when a new friend comes over, usually a new boyfriend or girlfriend, they always end up with the giant binder on their lap going over the story of their lives, my world in a book.
Here's my latest for Matt's book.
