I'm alive and still trying to post. Not sure what's going on but I'm not able to post pictures and God knows I have plenty to share. I think I might have figured it out. Anyway,,,

December Daily 2012
It's that wonderful time of year and I am doing my 5th December Daily scrapbook inspired
by Ali
Edwards.
For the cover I used a page from the MME 6x6 Christmas paper pad and the inside pages from the DCWV The Crafty Christmas paper pad. As usual the dimensions are 6x9. I am back to using 3 rings. Last year I used the bind-it-all but I like the flexibility of rings. This year I am using 2 pages for each day, left side for journaling and right side for pictures. I used the Ali Edwards Studio AE 25 Moments to stamp December and then the number on the backside of the journal page.
I used my Photo 365 App to help me with the daily pictures. This was lasts year's calender. It takes me a year to finish my book so being able to refer back to this calender was great.
Have a great week and and awesome December!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our Superhero
Dominick has his father's love for sports and smile. He idolizes him and glows when he walks in the door. He adores his mother. She spends the day teaching him his ABC's, numbers, shapes and colors. He loves his family especially his new cousin Mattie. He says please, thank you and may I please. He is smart and funny and brightens our every waking moment.
Invite created by Chris
Chris created this scene for him. She spent hours cutting all the shapes.
Amazing Cake by Chrissy. She said this is her favorite so far.
She baked and free hand the cookies too.
cupcakes created by Jada. She baked and dyed all the colors to coordinate with each superhero.
super water. makes you strong
One of his many outfits for the day
of course a Batman bounce house
his super parents
Just hanging around with Pepa
Kayla and Sophia were Bat girls with yellow and black tutus and Batman sign on the leotard. So cool.
Of course Hero sandwiches
pie eating
musical chairs
picture scene
If you havnt guess it the theme was super heros. Most of the guests were dressed with super hero tee shirts. Amazing party with too many details to capture. Great job Chris.

Working on getting this mess cleaned up before Dom's 3rd birthday next Sunday
Found this in my stuff and guess who loves it now
Congratulations to our President
How cool is this poster. When I was planning Fern's birthday a few months back it was going to be Casino theme and this was going to be one of the posters. Instead he wanted a cruise. Oh well, I will keep it in my files just in case.
So ready for the cruise
Bathroom Update: Grouting as we speak. The plan is for it to be ready by Dom's birthday. I will post pictures then. Have a great week.

Minnie Mouse, Tinker Bell, Rapunzel, Batman
and the Dimple Bandit
This guy is armed and dangerous. He will lure you with his smile and eyes and just when you can't resist anymore and go for his cheeks he spits up his milk all over your face and yes in your mouth. Beware!
Never fear our local superheroes are on the job
Tinkerbell and Rapunzel are on standby
Julissa too
Bathroom update: Tiles are up.
OK people, this time next week we will know who are next president is. Please vote. No matter what you think, your vote matters. Sunday, October 28, 2012
Happy 2nd Anniversary
I'm in to mini albums lately so naturally the mini I'm working on now is my cruise mini. Bathroom reno not my priority anymore. This blog confirmed a lot of the way I was thinking while putting my book together. My goal was to keep it simple and to use what I had. But because everything has to match, yes, this trait of mine gets on my nerves too, I purchased a digital cruise kit for only 2.99. The boat color was my inspiration. I plan on taking my book with me and a few supplies. It's not a long trip and I'm sure the last thing Fern wants is for me to scrapbook but it's more about capturing the moments and glueing them down while they are fresh and not putting them in my really big pile of stu.ff I never get to.
Too many ideas for the cover to glue any of them down yet
I have four of these dividers for each day of the cruise. This is the front
this is the back.
I plan to make a few tags for each divider. Following each divider are a few pages for journaling and pictures. Pages are made from kraft paper I had from JoAnns and some textured paper I got for free a few years back from an Scrapbooking Expo. I am determined to use what I have. Hey, It's a short cruise but I might have a lot to say LOL
Reno Update, progress is slow but steady.
Game before the game
Have a great week

Race for the cause with Mom on her mind
We went to the cemetery for mom's birthday. She would have been 69 yrs. old. We all got together after and Chris made her favorite dish that mom made and bacalaitos, my favorite.
And later we sang happy birthday and had some cake.
Sleepover with Kayla and Sophia
Like Father
Like son
Chris wroteYesterday Dom took out his daddy's little speakers, put his "laptop" on them and then said "I'm dancing like daddy... I'm playing music". He looks up to his dad and loves him so much! I couldn't have picked a better man to be his dad! I adore my boys ♥ —
Amazing custom Cake by Chrissy
When she told me what she was going to do, I honestly could not envision it much less find any appeal to it. My jaw dropped when I saw it. Amazing job!
Little progress in the bathroom Reno. Still working on the walls. Can't wait until he starts on the tiles. Surviving with the one bathroom; barely. Had some plumbing issues. Fern had to take a break from the Reno to fix it. Poor guy. It will all be worth it. I will let him have the first bubble bath.
Have a blessed week.

It’s been a while since I had to share a bathroom with 7 people. Not since I was a kid growing up with 4 sisters and my mom and dad.
So far so good. Our timing is good in the morning. We do have to leave the bathroom door unlocked while taking a shower just in case Dominick has to go. You know little boys, (and big boys) they wait until they can’t anymore and they are running.
Progress is slow. Due to Fern's full time job, side work and constant weekend interruptions from work. But despite of all that tub is in and there is running water. Walls are next. Hopefully we’ll be done by Dom’s birthday.
