Just before my son turned 18 I have been very melancholy. My children have been the center of my life and now I find myself with so much time. So when my daughter announced that she was expecting and after my a 5 minute meltdown, it hit me, God has filled my void. Soon my world will be perfect with my grandchild to drive me nuts. Just when you think you're done.
I recently decided to have my mother move in with us and though I know most of you have a great relationship with your moms, sadly, mine has been a very turbulent one. I have been very anxious about my decision but with the loving support of my husband, children and of course my sisters, it will be OK.
So all that time I had before, forget it. I may need to get away more often so keep those invitations coming.

I'm Gonna Be A GRANDMA!
