5 Months/Welcome Sophia/Week in a Day

Dominick is 5 months today. He is so much fun. You can't leave him alone, he is all over the place. He can sit up for a short periods of time. He is almost drinking a full bottle and he likes his cereal. He had his first pool outing last week so stay tuned for some pictures of him swimming very soon.
Look I'm a turtle
Welcome Sophia Isabella Martinez. She was born today, Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 9:53 am. She is 7 lbs. 11 oz and 21 inches. She looks like her daddy. Good Job guys. Congratulations Stephanie, Angel and Kayla.
First family picture
OK guys don't get any ideas
Tomorrow I will be participating in Week in a Life hosted by Ali Edwards. I will be documenting those mundane things of my and my family's everyday life. I will be taking pictures and documenting. For the past 2 years I have been a big fan of Ali Edwards and her work. She is the true example of a Life Artist. It's not about the paper, flowers etc.; its truly about the story. I love the way she thinks and how she shares so much of herself to help us. My memory is not all that great lately. I am looking forward to my new found freedom and I look forward to years alone with my husband and time with our families and of course my grandson; I need to document my life. I can just see Fernando reading to me from my "Week in a Life" album as we snuggle on the couch in the RETIREMENT HOME! You know like the Notebook, LOL.
I decided to use my blog as my organizer for the week. I was originally going to use my December Daily format but I really like Aby Garvey's approach about using a dedicated album and keeping the same format every time I document a Week in a Life. I am sooooooooo excited. I will probably be sharing a lot more than anyone needs to know so if you rather just take a break from reading my blog I understand, except for my sisters; you guys have to read it and like it. I love to go back to my scrapbooks and admire my work. You know, it doesn't compare to the great stuff I see out there but its bad ass to me. I look at my pages and say "dam I rock". And when I need a reminder, I will take out the albums and remember the great times I had and how much I LOVE creating the pages and the love that oozes out from my albums for others to feel like a big hug. And when I am gone, I will be remembered; I get it now
Anyway, good luck to all who are participating and have fun.

What a beautiful baby... I'm taking the journey too. If you want base ball card protectors let me know because I bought a bunch of them at Target. I can't wait to see your album. I'm taking a lot of random photos but I realized yesterday I have only one photo of me. Don't forget to take photos of yourself too.
