Congratulations to Angel, Stephanie and Kayla Martinez on the purchase of their home.
Kayla's not sure if Dad can pull it off
Kayla: I'm just suppose to look cute
A toast
Look, I have a bell!
I love apartment living. I love the coziness of it all. Yes, it was a challenge with a growing family but I made it work. With that being said, it cannot compare to the wonderful, awesome feeling of owning your own home. Where I come from, where my family and in-laws come from, home ownership was something your rich uncle did. Then I grew up and learned that with hard work, persistence, faith and good credit I too could be rich. Not monetary rich but rich with pride. Angel and Stephanie come from a generation of kids that understand this concept and serve as a great example. I love these guys and words cannot express how proud I am. God Bless!

Happy Birthday Matthew
18 years ago God blessed me with a beautiful baby boy. He truly completed my life; I already had the perfect little girl. Matthew makes me laugh when I want to cry and he is my sunshine on my darkest day. He's a wonderful young man with a beautiful soul and he has a smile that makes my heart sing. A part of me wants to hold down the pause button of my life so things stay just the way they are. But of course, the other part of me cannot wait to see my son graduate from high school, start college and God willing Fire Academy. That’s enough for now.

31 Days of Christmas
It's not a 100% done but close enough. Hope you like it.
Using a rotary cutter and ruler from my quilting supplies, I cut 2 -6X9 pieces from a recycled cardboard. Using spray adheisve I adhered leftover Christmas fabric to each piece. I covered the raw ends with coordinating cardstock.
