Funny story. No one in the family wanted to know the gender but me. So I had my own reveal.

Hawaii Ohana Vacation 2018 - Part Two

I'm using the Project Life App, Tropical Theme cards.

That's all I have so far. I thought for sure that I would finish or at least have most of the layouts done on the plane ride back but I didn't even look at it. I watched movies instead. I will hopefully post Party Three sometime this year. I hope.

Hawaii - 2018 Ohana Vacation Part One

For our #50statesinour50s  adventures, we had planned on going to Hawaii in 2018 to mark the half way point in our travels and to celebrate our 55th birthdays and our 35th wedding anniversary. And even though we're behind and we're not in the half way point or close to it, we decided to go ahead anyway.

Our trips are just about us but we couldn't imagine going without the family.  And with a whole lot of planning, budgeting and praying, we were able to make it happen.

To start, here are the pictures taken by a local photographer. It was a hot and windy day at Waimea Bay Beach in Ohau. I'm not completely happy with the pictures but because we were either squinting from the sun or had our faces covered in hair from the wind and not to mention how hard it was to get 9 people doing the same thing at the same time, it could not be helped. But like the rest of our trip, we created awesome memories.

Mya Celeste

Introducing this beauty

On November 16, 2016 I received a text from my daughter and after 6 years of waiting our prayers were answered

June 17, 2017

On July 14, 2017 she arrived via C-section. Again I was blessed with the opportunity to be in the delivery room with my son-in-law and daughter to witness this miracle.

I used the same pattern for Mya's quilt as I did for my 2 grandsons.

I'm still here and I have an update

I started this blog back in 2008 when I had less time. Today I have more time and I can't seem to update it as much I would like to.

This blog was always just for me. I'm won't lie, I did get a kick knowing that I had one or two views here and there. But today, I realized that one day my grandsons will see this blog and how am I ever going explain the gaps?  I decided instead of explaining I will update, update, update.

My boys today. Dominick is 6 and Adrian is 1. I can't tell you how many pictures I have of them like this. Adrian adores Dominick. And Dominick loves him like a little brother. I am blessed beyond words.

I downsized from to a Condo and I love it. I miss my house but no regrets. Not much has changed except I don't have a giant pool in my yard and all the expense and work. Here are a few pictures  of my craft room.

It's a work in progress. I am trying to make it look more like a guest room and less like storage but its so hard.

OK that's enough. Stayed tuned for more updates and lots of pictures. Oh and heads up, I will try to watch my grammar as much as possible but I'm not stressing over it. So if you find typos, ignored them.
how about this face?

I'm Alive!

A little update

I sold my house and moved into a condo and I love it.  We gutted the condo with the exception of the bathrooms that were dated but decent. Pretty much everything we just did to the house we did to the Condo.  Same ceilings, walls, floors and lastly the kitchen. No regrets, just less space.

But more importantly updates on my boys

Dominick will be 6 in November and started Kindergarten this August.

and Adrian will be 1 in October. He's just like his daddy.

I still scrapbook and quilt but not as much because my room looks like this

and in case you didn't see this picture.
This is a still from a video of Derek Hough giving me a shout out.

Matthew works at the Hilton Boca Resort and he was a judge that day.

In case you were wondering why I stopped blogging, it's because my laptop crashed and I never replaced it. I hope to remedy that soon.

Until the next time
